17:16. அப்பொழுது தாவீது ராஜா உட்பிரவேசித்து, கர்த்தருடைய சமுகத்திலிருந்து: தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, தேவரீர் என்னை இதுவரைக்கும் கொண்டுவந்ததற்கு நான் எம்மாத்திரம்? என் வீடும் எம்மாத்திரம்?

17:16. பிறகு தாவீது அரசன் பரிசுத்தக் கூடாரத்திற்குப் போனான். கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பு உட்கார்ந்தான். தாவீது, "தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீர் எனக்காகவும் என் குடும்பத்துக்காகவும் எவ்வளவோ செய்திருக்கிறீர். இது ஏன் என்பது எனக்குப் புரியவில்லை
